The Culturepin was created in 2008 to cover arts, culture, literature, tech and well, general philosophical and ontological musings by Keram Malicki-Sanchez. It has expanded to cover new underground and independent films, games, tech and events.
About the Author
Keram is an actor (American History X, Happy Campers, John Q., Punisher: War Zone), [IMDB page] a writer, producer, a graduate of UCLA Extension’s Cinematography program, director, musician/composer and new media consultant who has always been at the bleeding edge of the intersection of technology and its nexus with the arts and culture. He also composes scores for television and has directed several award-winning short films.
He also occasionally does guest appearances on film and music podcasts and his episode about Mindfuck films on The Movie Loot has been the top-traffic episode for over a year.
He is the founding president of the Constant Change Media Group Inc. that operates a variety popular online opinion sites, and Constant Change Music, an independent record label launched in 1992 and the founder of the critically acclaimed FIVARS Festival of International Virtual & Augmented Reality Stories.
